Eh, it still doesn't work great.

What I loved about the geth was that you weren't just taking on hodgepodge units.  Their uniformity and style made it feel like you were mowing down an army.

The mercenaries are too diverse, and the vorcha aren't skilled enough.  The Collectors were ok (though still not as awesome as the geth, and way too few), and the Loki mechs were way too unrefined.  They couldn't even walk without wobbling.

I think it should be an option to massacre, but should also be able to imprison, kill the leader, disable the ship and leave them for some other antagonists, that sort of thing. It's all about choice.

I do not support Batarian massacre, but we should be able to poke at least one of their eyes out - they have four after all.... "an eye for 2 eyes" as they say...

Don't get me wrong. I don't have anything against the Batarians, and I don't mind expanding the roles or lore of any species.

But, sometimes, I wonder, can't we just have some bad guys anymore? First, everyone's favorite targets, the geth, are made all butterflies and rainbows (which was fine, Legion was awesome), leaving us with almost none left to shoot at. Wrex is already stealing all my Krogan targets. None of the Collectors seemed to survive. Now you guys are going to take my Batarians?

Fine, but give me another target that I can kill without entering into some big moral dilemma thing. Give me some straight bad guys, that I can just kill, dangit. Does everything have to be shades of grey? Can't I just say "Ooh, look, they're evil" and pull out my big guns?

There are probably none douchey Batarians, but I can't imagine a likable 'slaver Batarians'. Does anyone else remember the planet where they abducted ALL of the children? Even Paragon Shepard would show little mercy to the people that did that.

look, here is the thing. we already genocided the collectors and exterminated them. why not just genocide the batarians too? i mean we are already on a roll, and they keep pissing us off. plus, since they hate the rest of the galaxy, there is absolutely no guarantee that they wont work for the reapers when the invasion comes. why take that chance? lets just wipe them out.

I wouldn't mind doing a mission like those N7 marines who destroyed the batarian solar array (you hear about it if you killed the council)

I'd like to see a sequel to Bring down the Sky.

I think it's possible and here's my idea on how I see it being possilble.

If you let Balak (the main villian of the mission) escape the whole story would be to stop him in his latest attemp to corrupt "The System".

If you killed Balak then you'll deal with a follower of his (a brother perhaps) and do the same mission with Balak's follower being the head honcho talking about how he will avenge you murdering Balak.

Those children were batarian.  Lorek and the surrounding planets are batarian owned.
