Did you guys know you can get a pet varren by feeding the one on wrex's homeworld. Thats pretty awesome.8 playthroughs and I am still finding new stuff.

Here's a thought though: if you could have kept Urz as a pet proper, i.e., take it onto the Normandy, it might explain that scale itch that concerned Mordin....

I don't think Urz stays dead though. Doesn't he pop up next to you anyways following the fight or have I not made enough bets to see him lose?

He's not dead just wounded as you can fight with him in the pit again later. Go to that krogan doctor near the tomkah vehicle and you'll see him in a table, some characters make comments on it. Miranda is exasperated that they are visiting Urz at the doctor, Grunt is respectful that he fought a good fight and those two were the only characters I brought so far.

Maybe having Urz as a pet was cut out of the game at the last second. That could explain Mordin's scale itch comment.

Zaeed basically says to send him out wounded, bet against him and make a fortune!
For those who spent too many credits on fuel and probes mining the whole Terminus System, that might be an effective way to make back some creds!

There one in the Krogan med bay area. When you approach him, a "punch" prompt appears using the "A" button IIRC.
