My greatest fear is that I'll accidentally stumble upon information that spoils the storyline.

I'd recommend you go on an entire forums blackout and ignore whatever game website that assumes you know all the announced spoilers.

My biggest fear is a few heres some.

1) The ending they had with DA1 and Awakening. Where you never fully find out what happens to your main character.

2) DL content that has nothing to do with the storyline. You get Wardens Keep but you never use it like they jest at for your party. You wear the kings armor and weapons but no one notices, nor do you tell anyone you gave him a burial.

3) They actually fix stuff in the game befor putting out DLC.

4) No Moriggan god child yet its way to soon. This isnt the remake of karate kid. They have said that this story takes close to after awakening or around the time maybe even a year later.

No problem, I know how fear a thing in a video-game can be... unpleasant? I can't really find the word I want.

My other fear is... actually this is a bit silly, but anyway, I fear that the armors/robes are too limited. I mean, rogues armors usually were... the same. And mage's robes looked really,,,, fugly. I do like Bethany's robe, but I can't picture a male using it.

I was going to get FIFA 11 for x-box, but now I've just heard it's going to be a football game with guns, swords and romance

My greatest fear? The main plot being as absent in DA2 as it was in ME2.

Well, there is this concept art where Hawke uses a magic, and he's not using a robe. In fact, he's using his "official" armor. I wonder if in the game mages don't need use robes or just light armors? It was just a concept art, so maybe it doesn't mean nothing.

I fear...

1) That it'll be hack and slash.

2) That you'll never learned what happened to your Warden from DA:O and DA:A.

3) It'll be rushed.

Actually I found the main plot of mass effect 2 to be much more present than DAO.

My greatest fear is that they are not brave enough to do major changes in the gameplay.
I found it fun the first time I played through it, but after that everything became more of a chore.
Especially the sound effect when you kill an enemy. Aside from screams, I found that good games have a distinctive sound when an enemy dies. Be that the drop dead sound from the Baldurs Gate Saga, or the slump to the floor sound of Mass Effect 2. In DAO, the enemies died too silently and thus the victory over them did not feel significant.
Surprisingly, I replay Mass Effect 1+2 more often then DAO, which is disturbing, since DAO offers Mods and I consider myself an RPG fan before any other genre.

So I really hope they don't shy away from significant changes, especially in the feel of gameplay flow, the sound (to make them more game distinctiv and recognizeable) and the interactivity with the environment department.

Yeah, I forgot this one in my list.  But, I think (and hope) they'll keep Hawke as PC for future games.

I don't mind minor spoilers like character information, location details etc.  It's major revelations in the plot that I fear being exposed to.
I have a bad history with spoilers.  Mass Effect 2 was spoiled for me, Return to Ostagar was spoiled, even Final Fantasy VII was spoiled for me way back in the day.
It's not happening with Dragon Age 2, mark my words.

If the marketing remains the exact same from Origins, more than half the game will be revealed before it's out.

Yeah, I'll be staying away from all the trailers as tempting as they are to watch.

I dont mind the replacing of characters but end there story.  They did the same thing with neverwinter nights 2 as well.  If they countinue to switch at least offer closure to what happens to your main character.

The important part of the Warden's story has ended. They're only really important in the time of a blight. The only significant bit left open was the dark ritual if you did it but Bioware have said they have plans to deal with it.

In awakening your character goes back to court and so on if he/she lived through the god child ending.  But they tell you he/she leaves whatever you chose but then you get "But that is a story for another time."

My greatest fear has already been realized with the announcement of the voiced protagonist and the dialogue wheel, for reasons that have been mentioned so often, and by so many, that I won't bother to elaborate here.

My biggest fear, would be that the story being narrated and exaggerated by story tellers, that I'd run into playing through maps or time periods in that 10 years where things that I do "never really happened'. I really do dislike anything that does the trope of..........it was all a dream.

Aside from that, my biggest fear is the removal of inventory or extreme "steamlining" of inventory. I don't mind finding less silver rings and peices of parchment, but I sure do want to find 47 peices of cool armor, and be able to equip my party with them or even choose different ones to suit my skill choices and play style. I'm not ready for fantasy rpgs to go the streamlined inventory route, just yet:)

To be completely honest... my greatest fear is if DA2 will have giant spiders like DA:O. Or maybe even bigger ones D:

There was nothing scary about those things.

People were scared enough that they had to release a mod for PC users that made the spiders into bears instead. Bears in the Deep Roads, Bears in the ruins and Bears in the spider-web infested forest.

But there was nothing scary about it.

Hey, just pointing out the obvious.

That's a good goal and all, but I think if you stay on the forums people will keep talking about even if you haven't watched it. Also, you might get tempted.
