I'm worried about how the framed narrative structure will affect the characters. I don't really like the idea of characters coming and going during the ten year period. I mean, I don't want to meet a really cool character, then never see him/her again because said character dies/leaves/etc etc.

My fear is that the story will have less of an impact without the Origin Stories. In DA:O, going through a specific origin would give your character different motivation for different choices in the story. For instance, playing as one of the dwarf origin stories would affect your decision in Orzammar. I am afraid that without those the story and re-playability would get a massive hit.

my greatest fear is that it will be as rushed as Awakening was and as a result fail to live up to the amazing potential it has. I would love to be wrong

Plus the major plus point for origins for me was the multiple starting stories..

And if all the human characters have the same height.... i just wish my computers mic will be switched off then..

so sad that all my fears already came true regarding that game.. bioware won't have same success as the first.. the team really missed a golden chance. simple example, our first character could become a strong support one to a new character so you have two. oh well i will wait for DA3
