I would say Jade Empire was more like Bug's Life and it was good, but it didn't do well financially, and NwN (the original campaign) is like Cars.

Sure, i want ME to stay the hell away from my Dragon Age, but ME is still a great game, and this OP is making it out like its MW2.\\
Dragon Age should be Dragon Age, and Mass Effect should be Mass Effect, but thier both great games.

If mean better game, yes.
No bloody nun on runs, customer.
Less money = Crappier game.
Execution matter more.
Lucas no money starwars new hop, best movie, new big budget movie poor very much by comparison.
Do you know how Star Wars was ABLE to be made in the first place? Lucas practically invented film marketing. He sold comics, toys, books. So saying that finances did not matter to Star Wars is really, really factual incorrect.
We talks less money, no money not, also not say.
Comprehension please.
How much money do you think it took to make the original Star Wars, Rubbish? My point was that Lucas did not just go "oh tiddly dee, I have only this much to work with. So I'm going to just use that". No, he got out there and he worked his ass off because he knew that he could not make this vision will limited money. He created three brand new tech shops for his baby, because he knew current tech would not help him for ****. All three Star Wars film went OVERBUDGET. Also, Lucas was a horrible writer then, just like he is now. The only difference is that back in the '70s, he was a nobody. Studios don't surround nobody's with Yes Men. The prequels are not crap just because of all of the money.
So to be say that Star Wars was able to thrive because of less money is quite frankly, BS.

Well, I played both recently and honestly, I think dragon age is much much better that ME2. It has a lot more depth and replayablity.

I thoroughly enjoyed both of them. I think each of them have their own strengths. DA had more flaws, but I agree about the depth and replayability. DA is the one I practially became obsessed with, despite lacking the polish ME2 had.

Well I dont understand the MW2 hate. Sure it doesnt re-invent the wheel but as far as multiplayer games go it is pretty well made and fun to play. Sure it isnt the best game out today and it probably gets more praise than it deserves from reviewers but if you take it for what it is it is a pretty good game.
Mass Effect 2 was a good game as well, while I am not a fan of the way a lot of things were handled I did enjoy Mass Effect 2 for what it was, while it wasnt quite as good as Origins it was so much better than the first Mass Effect which in my opinion is garbage.
But before I tell everyone why Mass Effect sucked so much balls and everyone just disagrees with me on principle without actually reading what I have to say why dont you tell me what made Mass Effect such a great game?
Was it the B grade sci-fi plot? The shoddy combat? The pop in textures? The horrible AI? The repeditive side missions and the fact that they all use the same 4 interiors over and over and over again? The boring mako planet exploration? Please tell me why you think that the game is so great?

You know, if you want to maintain any sense of credibility, you probably should stay on your own damn topic.
But since you didn't have a point in the first place, I guess anything goes.

Shoddy combat? Never was a big deal to me. Back then I thought it was original compared to all the other TPS combat systems.
Pop in Textures: I'm sorry but only graphics ****s start ****ing about that ONE second that was required to load the textures. It's good they fixed but it barely had any priority in my book.
Horrible AI? Still better handled compared to some situations in ME2 in my opinion.
The repetitive side missions and the boring mako planet exploration? The only thing I have to agree with you, but to me it didn't justifiy cutting vehicle sections or open planets completely.

Well I actually diddnt think the plot of ME2 was that great either (neither was Origins as a matter of fact), however I did find it more interesting and the characters in ME2 were much better than the ones in the first ME (even Garrus was way cooler in ME2). But as the sum of all its parts ME2 was a much better game IMO than the first ME.

Only thing Mass Effect succeed presentation cinematic. Actual RPG, character, plot e.t.c... big turd bucket. Pretentious dribble most part. Dragon Age problem also, but funny wunny characters somewhat interesting take off boringness.
I give incredible amazing fact factually prove how bad Mass Effect is.
Dog from halflife 2 more character than anything Mass Effect, Side character very little time, no voice, facial feature rudimentary, still emote better than any Mass Effect person. More tangible and very much so fun interesting.

Well everyone has got his/her own opinion but to me ME (1) didn't feel any more or less RPG than KotOR for example. The characters were to me no more or less interesting than any of any other Bioware game I've played. Same goes for ME2 which I think is a flaw because that is supposed to be a game focused on characters.Rubbish Hero wrote...

Maybe I'm not such a hardcore RPG fan I thought I was if I read some of the stuff in this forum. I don't get the hate for the Fable series for example. But maybe it's a matter if what people consider to be RPG's. To me I think it's about story/plot, atmosphere (immersion as people call it around here) and a big open world (not in the way Bethesda does it though, but that's just my opinion). If it hits some of these bases I'm cool with it. This is probably the reason why I find ME2 to be lacking in RPG, although it's still good and enjoyable to play.
