The community would be well served if a moderator could pin this topic.

These support forums state very clearly that official game support is offered by Electronic Arts via http://help.dragonage.com.  However, any attempt to submit bug reports via that site will result in a suggestion from EA support personnel to post the bug reports for Bioware to monitor here at http://social.bioware.com.  Bioware has not provided a location for submitting bug reports and according to EA, it would seem that it is Bioware's responsibility to monitor these issues.  Therefor, I suggest that we use a pinned thread to monitor these bug reports in a location that is separate from other support-related issues as these issues are covered in the various support threads.  Bug reports that apply the all versions of the game should be posted in this thread and all community members are encouraged to post all confirmed bugs in this location.  This will be most helpful if people avoid posting help requests or vague reports of erratic behavior.  Many of these issues have been noted on these forums in various threads as well as the Dragon Age wiki.  Consolidating them here will ensure that they don't get overlooked by Bioware for the next patch.

Here are a few of the issues I have submitted

Base game (Origins) bugs:
1. Haste effects on ranged attack speed are
incorrect - this spell's description says it speeds up ranged weapon
attack speed but it slows it down. This is probably due to a scripting
error.
2. Item effects such as Weakens Darkspawn, Increases/Decreases
Hostility and others are not implemented. Yet items with these effects
continue to appear in new DLC produced by Bioware. Please have Bioware
implement these effects properly or remove them from the game.
3. Ancient Elven Boots are not available anywhere in the game. This has been left unaddressed since the game's release.
4. 1.03 introduced several bugs that remain unaddressed in 1.04. These are as follows:
a.
Shale's Rock Barrage ability does nothing. The animation and stamina
cost work but nothing else happens and the ability quickly refreshes.
b.
Stealing was broken in 1.03 but fixed in 1.04. However, Stealing was
removed as an option under all Tactics configurations in 1.03 and
remains missing in 1.04. This change was not documented or explained, so
it is assumed to be a bug.

Expansion (Awakening) bugs:
1. The two-handed version of Vigilance is held and swung backwards. This implies that its model is reversed.
2.
Several pieces of the Blackblade armor, although present in the game
files, are not obtainable through any means. Please place them in the
game accordingly.
3. Certain circumstances will cause the player,
after entering the Silverite Mines, to not be able to recover their
equipment and be forced to play the rest of the game with newly acquired
equipment. This issue has been widely documented by players on the
Bioware forums with no response from the developer.
4. Several spells
(Mana Clash and Holy Smite in particular) cause the game to crash when
they are cast. This behavior was first observed in 1.03 and remains
unaddressed in 1.04.
5. The new talent Find Vitals references the
wrong effect and instead of providing the bonuses its description claims
it simply adds 5% spirit damage (the same effect of a different,
completely unrelated effect). This is likely a simple scripting error
that would be easy to fix yet remains unaddressed by the developer.

You mean for Bioware to make a user-reported bug-tracking system that operates akin to Mozilla's? I think that's a damned good idea.

Not necessarily as that would put more burden on Bioware which is not my intent. I merely hope to place all of the confirmed bug reports in one location where: a) Bioware can track them, and B) the community can verify that issues have been reported to Bioware and that Bioware is aware of them.

Sorry, I commented before you finished your post-- I think you had a partial up for a few minutes on the forums.  Never mind me...

I'd like to add looping scenes to that.  In the Wending Wood, when you talk to the tainted guardsman, the scene loops twice before you can finally face the darkspawn ambush.

This bug can be repeated for just about any cutscene that is triggered by an event. For example, in the Fade when/if you rescue one of your companions (Leliana in particular) you can receive the dialogue that occurs before combat and then receive the dialogue again even though you have already killed the NPC that is supposedly speaking. This can also occur in Dust Town when being confronted by Jarvia's thugs. I have seen it in a number of other places as well. I assume this is a scripting issue. Since it is not game breaking and does not make any game content unavailable, I did not consider it a major issue.

Is there no moderator willing to pin this thread? Do moderators have that ability or is it something that is reserved for Bioware personnel?

I definitely think that all the bugs need to be captured in one place. Just as importantly, BW needs to in some way acknowledge the bugs (if they'd done this before 1.04 release as I suggested, then maybe the more severe Silverite Mines bug would actually have been fixed).

Kastagir, I think you should consider splitting the "gameplay logic" bugs from the "drivers/hardware" bugs. Listing a bug that implies that Mana Clash and Holy Smite always or even usually crash the game does not match my experience in 1.03/1.04 at all.

I'd also add some of the things fixed in QWinn's fixpack to the list, as well as some other oddities that work in the player's favor but skew game balance (Repeater Gloves "super dooper rapid aim" and Legion of the Dead Heraldry +20 to all attributes, for example).

If you mean hardware specific bugs, then I agree, but I don't know if those are hardware specific bugs.  If more people report their findings in ths thread, I would be happy to update the bug reports and list (per bug) the hardware configurations under which the bug/crash is reproducible.
