It is a categorized list of the projects that actually have files to download, listed with the authors' descriptions all in one place. No more searching through pages of projects only to end up with one face morph to show for it.
Listening to the wider community, we've decided that our original plan for an Open House index wasn't satisfactory, so we've changed our approach in the hope of creating something everyone can be proud of using.
This new index is not a list of "open content". We've come to the conclusion that it's impractical for us to express a view on individual projects, and where permissions are unclear, we do not wish to do so without prior consent of the authors. Instead, the index includes a link to Open House's general approach to using BSN.
If anyone has any concerns or suggestions about this new index, we'd be glad to hear from you via response here. Developing this tool for builders will be an ongoing process which hopefully no one in the community will feel excluded from.
