Like the title says. This started in the Redcliffe invasion quest. For some reason, my party stopped engaging enemies, they don't react to them at all even if attacked and damaged themselves by the enemy. When I specifically order them to attack or cast a spell, they would all attack just once, or cast that one specific spell, and then stop again and just stand there and get killed.
Also I can't see their status by the portraits in the upper left corner anymore (as in "Attacking" / "Moving" etc.).
I tried making sure they weren't set to Hold Position and I even tried setting them all to Aggressive tactics, but still no go.
Also, during the Redcliffe invasion my entire party acquired enough XP to level up, but when I press the Level Up button (or the level up icon next to the portraits) nothing happens, and I cannot level up. This is a game-stopping problem for me, I can't keep playing if I can't level up!
Please help! D:
Party stops fighting, cannot level up

Hey Caeg,
What happens when you load a saved game? Does the passive AI persist, or is it only happening during the Redcliffe attack? If it happens with your most recent saved game, give it a try with an older saved game and see if it still happens. Thanks!
As for the level up, if I remember correctly I believe your party remains in combat during the entire attack, does it not? If this is the case, then that is probably why you cannot level up (you can't level up while in combat). If you aren't in combat, it's possible whatever is causing your other issue has also had an affect on other game systems.
