Don't get me wrong, I liked Zevran.

Like miss Saibh posted in another thread, Leske from dwarf commoner origin was a very good example on how to differently handle a smooth-talking, flirtatious man.



Just that Varric, bless his heart, strikes me as someone who either amusingly says how things are or slyly suggests and charms. Either of them.

It's like you turn dreams into reality! Love it, as always. Still going with the obscured face for now I see? Or did the picture itself make that the best choice? Two random things I think are great in that pic: Varric's duster, he reminds me of the Browncoats! Awesome jacket is made even more awesome when drawn by Aimo.

Also the crystal on the end of Lady Hawke's swordstaff, really well visualised.

Further proving to me that Varric should dual wield, it looks awesome. How about daggers that shoot crossbows that shoot playing electricguitar?

(And I noticed you didn't say "bice".  Nicely done!)

On topic, though:  I can't see Varric as a, much less "the", LI.  No matter how I turn the scenarios in my head, it just gets waaaaay to creepy (if Hawke is still alive) AND morbid (if not) to picture a lover being interrogated about "Who I really [am][was] and what I really did." 

Wingman, Second, Sidekick, Comrade-in-Arms, Friend, Companion, Buddy (Drinking, or otherwise), Business-or-even Nodding Acquaintance, sure. 
But Lover?
