Edit: Before anybody tells me something, I know fans have HUGE expectations that are never met.

You know, Varric will suck.
His beard will suck too.
And most of all, his chest heair will suck!

Just kidding. I'm sure he'll be a cool character, just...don't expect way too much, and I'm sure you'll be happy with Varric and his epic chest hair. I'm waiting to see him in action too.

That's where the "blind freaking out without context" comes in, the thread isn't about characters and such and thereby I have no ground to support my claim. I'm just filling my quota because apparently I'm a blind fanboy (and I don't want to start another thread).
