I guess you can pronounce it however you like but me being an English speaker, I think about it as sounding like "Erica" but with a V.

I pronounce like "Várriki". Somethimes "Vérriki". In my mind I always pronounce like it's a brazillian name, but I guess that if I should talk the name it would be something like "Vérik".
