He means "pulls the cords back into firing position", however, the censor does not distinguish between the different uses of the word "c-0-c-k".

Varric has a HUGE chin and squinty little eyes. He looks like a moleman who shops at the same clothes store as Captain Sparrow.

Love his voice, wasn't wat I was expecting, but it certainly fits!

Whether this is how a crossbow would/could actually work, I don't know. Probably best reserved for one of those grognard threads where folks compare their SCA experiences on how weapons are supposed to be represented in games, I guess.

We've only seen two (?) companions so far but they weren't kidding when they said they were doing something unexpected. I'm glad they're making the changes they damn well please to make, even when some (read: all) changes are the kind you can see resistance to from a mile away. Then again I doubt that's stopped 'em before.

Ugh, seriously. I wasn't too interested initially but now I'm going to out of spite and will probably end up loving her. Heck yeah.
