It's already Thursday in my part of the world, ThinkTankers, so I'm posting a rough drawing for today's Draw Varric.

So, rivalry path...wanted to draw something about that, so here we have Lady H and Varric obviously arguing over something, with Carver H exhibiting some distress. What could they ever be rowing about? Her stolen Cheese? Varric's affront at having Bianca called a mere 'thing'?

Feel free to come up with a story behind this. I'm overdue for bed, so nini!

The qunari invasion has been pushed back to their final stronghold, Hawke and Varric stand before the imposing fortress walls and they know they need more men to accomplish this final conquest, Hawke gives a heroic speech, punctuated by many sarcastic remarks from Varric, belitilling  Hawkes intellegence for attacking the qunari with such a small group of warriors, when at the end of Hawkes speech, she waves at the hill behind them and an army of horseless calvary crests the hill and prepares to charge, when the city gaurds show up and arrest Hawke for alledged theft of the royal treasury. Varric smirks and winks knowingly at Hawke as she is carted away. Varric leaves the army to fend for themselves and returns to Kirkwall to enjoy a few pints with some comely lasses he met earlier that day.


A few hours later Hawke is given a full pardon as they realise that she is not the one responsible for the theft of Kirkwall's treasury. She arrives at the bar where Varric is having a fine time and hears raucous laughter coming from the back of the tavern. As she gets closer she spots her brother listening to a maddeningly familiar voice.

Varric: And then, after leaving the Champion's undergarments pinned to the wall I smuggled ALL the gold out using nothing but a nug, a pair of spectacles, and a lace hankerchief given to me as a token of remembrance from the viscount's daughter after a exqisite evening.

Hawke:

Carver: But how did you get her panties Varric? 


Varric: (smirks)  Well..... I think your a little young to be hearing THAT story just yet, boy

Carver:

Hawke storms over: Maker curse you Varric!  I spent HOURS in that dungen waiting for them to sort out that mess!
Give the gold back NOW and I MIGHT forgive you for publicly humiliating me!

Varric jups up and glares at Hawke: No, its my gold now, I stole it fair and square, as per article 27 of the Merchant Prince Codex, and after 10 Hours of any theft by yours tuly it is considered a fair and legitimate transaction!

Hawke: Bull, there's no such thing.

Varric:(smirks) pulls scroll out from his vest unfulrs it and shows it to Hawke: See, there, the Viscount's Official Wax Seal,and signiture marking this as a Legitimate documant.

Hawke: *&!#$$

Varric smugly sits back down between two beautiful women who can barely suppress their giggles, and takes a sip of wine from a goblet made of diamonds

Varric wouldn't be caught dead wearing shiny armor at a big public gathering. A tailored suit, with an Orlesian silk cravat? Maybe.

Oh god. The scene (and subsequent gif) of him with Bianca I my first thought was "AWWWW he's so little eeeeeee:wub::wub:" ... but I'd rather not get a bolt to the crotch so I'll keep it to myself.
