Oh I hope so, I also hope that the camera angle during conversations will be better (I got so annoyed sometimes with the "over the shoulder" cam in Origins that prevented us from seeing our own characters faces most of the time but given they had no voiced lines maybe that wasn't so bad..) so that we can see such emotion on our characters' faces. There certainly was blushing in Origins, unless I am totally making that up but I can swear that Alistair and others do it with some dialogue. Omg, just imagine a blushing Varric.. <3

That is a physical impossibility. Varric has been everywhere, done everything (and everyone) and therefore has +25 resistance to blushes. The only place on his entire body he can blush is his chest, and his loyal Chesthair hides this weakness from the world in a thick lattice of coconut scented softness.

Thanks. Have to admit it just came to me. But I do regret that we're unable to romance Bethany as she is really quite attractive.

I have a hot first cousin.  Too bad he' s a dude who looks like Josh Hartnett and I'm a straight man.  Oh, and he's my first cousin.

Hey, I just thought of something. A bunch of pages ago, someone made an awesome comment about Varric pulling an Obi-Wan 'These are not the [insert words] you are looking for,' with his chest hair.
What if he could go the other way, and do a Vader? Have the chest hair rush out and just choke someone to death, while he reaches out his hand That would be so cool

Also, I'm fairly sure Varric doesn't want incest in his thread. Unless it is the semi-incestuous pairings of Varric/Chesthair or Varric/Varrica

Actually I don't. I have a biological sibling, I just agree with you. I did know some people who were adopted, including my childhood best friend and her (also adopted, no biological relation) brother. There was zero difference between that family dynamic and mine, so being adopted would make it no less creepy.

That's the only possible justification that doesn't make one sound like a total creep.

Sadly, you are playing Hawke, and Hawke is the one actually doin' the romancin'. So it's an invalid justification... for it being a romance in the game. Not being a fan of Bethany yourself.

So there.  Back to your regularly scheduled only-slightly odd Varric admiration.

I hope there are a lot of bro moments with Varric. As well was romance for the ladies (or guys, if you're into that).



Though, beyond romance, considering what they've told about Varric, I'd be very surprised if there was not a friendship path with him at the very least.
