I don't know if you guys have ever snuggled in a camel hair blanket (made from the chest hair of Siberian dromedaries), but is is soooooo soft and warm. You just never want to leave it's embrace. I imagine a Varric chest hair blanket is like this only more so. It would be so soft and warm, it would lull you into an eternal slumber.

They would share the chest hair, but for the fact that Varric visits every dwarf in Thedas, every night and shaves off the downy growth before it can reach its true potential. Another thing he has in common with Santa :innocent:

i might be late to this thread but i think varric might be romancable



So far we only know of Varric, Carver, and Bethany. that is 2 more companions that havent been revealed yet (i think BW said there will be 2 companions for each class).

Chest Hair Fetish? Within the bounds of normality, certainly not a challenging topic in a moral respect. Extreme fangirlism, perhaps, but then everyone has something they like in a person, don't they? I'm a sucker for sarcasm, cheekbones, long hair (and now chesthair) and romance:wub:. It would be really wierd to say you're a sucker for your sister

edit: also, lets not turn this into a Bethany Romance petition thread If Varric's thread gets locked because of that, he'll be very angry. You've seen what the Chesthair can do to people...just ask Dave...

Plus, I think it's safe to say that we're not just fetishizing his chest hair at this point. If anything, it's more of a running joke than a jumping point for why we like him. We know enough about the character to know that we like Varric for Varric as opposed to his chest hair.

Amen! I love Varric because he seems so far to check all the boxes on my 'Potential Best Gaming Romance Ever' list. Valen scored a 9.5, Zev a 9.0 Alistair a 8.2...but Varric, I think, has the potential to be a 10. I'm just holding out for the dry wit with a hint of broody darkness, then I shall never again wander into other pastures

On the topic of how creepy it is to like Varric's chest hair: I find the chest hair to be a fun gag and that's all. I am a heterosexual male, so it's likely something in my glands that prevents me from being so allured.
