re: women IRL and chest hair: (serious answer) obviously preferences vary between individuals but chest hair can indeed be sexy. It depends on the guy in question and the amount in which it's present (as in, on an attractive man in non-OMGBEASTMAN quantities). Although I will point out that in recent years facial hair has become trendy again and body hair has been more acceptable. 

Varric would look strange with a hairless chest, IMO.

And finally, welcome newcomers! It *is* a pretty nice place to take a breather on the forums, yessir.

Well hello =) don't post here that often. But got a look at Varric today at gamex today and he was pretty damn hot. Never thought that a I would like a dwarf for LI but he might just convince me =) that jawline *mmm* ... You guys will love him. We got to see the scene between him and Cassandra. Would probably still prefer a human but this is not a bad second choice, not at all.

Well, in the past they've looked sort of like all their facial features were scrunched up in the middle of their faces, giving them the appearance of puffy faces and big chins. But they've been looking much better in more recent screens and from SilentK's posts it sounds like both Varric and Carver are looking pretty good now. So, I wonder if they have been making adjustments in recent months. We know they've been changing hair around because both Mom Hawke and Cassandra have been shown with different hairstyles/colors.

Ahhhh, well to me, Varric looked pretty different in the Rise To Power trailer than he did in that one infamous screenshot (you know the one I'm talking about), but in everything I've seen of Cassandra lately, Rise to Power and that new leaked gameplay... Idk, I reeeeaaallly hate her new hair. With white hair and those bug eyes she looks ghoulish to me. And in regards to Hawke's momma, well I just haven't been paying attention to her. I didn't even know there were any images of her out there.

I'll admit to loving DAII's big anime - like eyes. Gives more room for showing emotions through the eyes.  Speaking of models, Garrett and Marian Hawke are my absolute favorite to date and Varric is shaping up to be the most unique dwarf around.

Ha ha =) yes.... Join the Varric-side ..... the force is strong with you =) He and a fem hawke rouge with the comedy mask. They would be funny and dangerous together ...gahh!! Thought I would last just a little bit longer.

Confirmed in leaked gameplay video -- Varric's second special ability is Steeple Fingers, and it's glorious.

also, dental hygiene in Thedas drastically and mysteriously improved.
