I've done that.  I only took humans past Ostagar.  Because the differences were minimal enough that I could simply read a list of them on the Dragon Age Wiki.  The Origins themselves were so significantly varied and different that I actually had to experience them.

Having a new option for Dalish elves to say "We practiced magic like that" when she talks about Shapeshifting or getting a slightly different way of matching Alistair's grief over Duncan didn't really "do it" for me.

...now that I'm looking at my Human Male Noble his neck is too big.  Even if I was going for that because he was a 2H warrior, it's a bit too much.  I'll have to fix that someday.

I'm working my way through actually finishing my first non-human Warden. I'm gonna be a sad panda soon too since I'm planning on recruiting Loghain. My first Warden was actually a city elf but then I found out about that whole marrying Alistair thing... Start all over! Delete everything!
