He's probably set to be a rogue using two daggers or something, but it's hard to envision him fighting anyone with anything other than his quick wit and endless charm. Oh and his epic body hair.

Considering how the game doesn't involve an enemy like the Archdemon and blight, I'm sure Varric's wit and charm will be a decent weapon. I can imagine just seeing a bandit camp and Varric places his hand on Hawke and says "I'll handle this."

Yeah, I'm leaning towards him dual wielding. Or, if they include them, maybe a staff? It does seem odd to think of him as anything other than that charming dwarf sitting on a throne of sorts, hahaha.

Who cares. Bioware confirmed that in DA2 you can base your relationship on both approval and disapproval.

Hm. In any case, maybe you can gift him something special, like chest hair tonic?

I'm saddened at the lack of the "Bioware" tag at the bottom of this thread, it makes this thread seem a lot less important than the previous one.

On the eve of the trailer/influx of Gamescom information, I have to admit I'm a bit nervous. What if he's not in it? What if we're not able to catch a glimpse or hear him mouthing off to Cassandra? What if we're not allowed a look at his glorious in-game chest hair?
