Stealing his Bianca would go against Varric. If that's even possible. Like, I can see it, you open up the inventory screen, and you try to click and drag Bianca out of Varric's inventory, and it suddenly switches from inventory to a cutscene where Varric yells at you for trying to steal his precious crossbow, and then you get "Varric disapproves -95"

The only thing I can think of is he might be at odds with a righteous type-A paladin type character who frowns on Varric's occupation and habits.

Curses, ignored again! Well, anyway, I consider Varric being affectionate of his family and if Hawke were to question Varric's scoundrel ways and questionable family affairs, then perhaps Varric's calm demeanor could fade. I'm not sure how scoundrel-y Varric and his family are, however, so my speculation is probably pretty poor.

They seem a little smaller from that one fugly screenshot that we saw a month or so. I wonder if they got resized.



Also, I'm guessing that Bioware has fnally settled on Varric's hair color, considering the screenshots that are up on the main page now.

Varric's earring is on the "gay side". Just like Duncan's. And don't go "but Duncan was straight" on me, he's a rogue NPC and therefore he MUST be bissexual. I rest mah case.

Not. I was just wondering if there's a chance Varric being the bissexual male LI, I feel better thinking that it's him than other unknown character. I still have my theory of the black-haired man, but anywui.

Wow, the conversations in this thread can occasionally survive a page or two, but they're otherwise as sporadic as a kid watching Youtube cat videos (my little brother should not draw as much joy from cats suffering by water, lasers, etc. as he does).

Anyway, about Varric... Uh, if he were the main character, then he'd technically be in every romance. There will probably be mods that edit Varric into both male and female romance scenes, though I've only seen that in Mass Effect.
