I don't have any fancy tablet things (it would look worse if I did) so I scanned this out of my notebook. I got lazy once I got to the zipper. And his legs. And I'll stop myself before I start criticizing everything out loud.
Edit: Yeah... I should sleep soon.

Wait. It's past 2AM where I'm at. Why am I still awake? It's you, isn't it Varric. You compel me to stay awake until I can draw something that will pass for a smirk. Well you know what? I'm going to bed!
No, I'm not...

So I tried to draw Varric in the Organization XII coat/robe/cloak thing...

Organization XII?
Also, I agree with the "young varric" description for this picture. Reminds me of how I feel sometimes when forced to dress up in a monkey suit (or just dress up!

Off-topic (but was hot topic earlier): I am pretty sure I am older than Dave tho I'm 18 too, cuz I'm a New Year baby XP
On-topic: The screenies are AMAZING! Varric looks extremely dashing... I just had to make it my desktop wallpaper...
@Neesee It's 4.35pm where I am...

Well, she actually did manage to beat them all, but a little help would've been nice I guess.

I think he won Bianca in a betting game.
Varric: "Bianca can shoot a bolt over 12 seconds"
Hawke: "But aren't seconds a measure of time, not distance"
Varric: "Nah-nah-nah-nah. I need a drink."
(Horrible Star Wars and Family Guy mash-up in there)

I'm 23 by the way, my first gaming experience was a mixture of dos text adventure and the Atari.
I'm guessing Varric is late twenties/early thirties.

Last DVT piece from me, since Thursday is ending soon over here. Inspired by the Varric Friendship/Rivalry talk in one of them past pages; This is what I imagine how such a scenario for both paths might transpire...

This makes me very excited for the possibilities of the friendship/rivalry path, Bioware should really just hire you to build up hype for their games Aimo. ;p
No, I would seriously spend a lot of money on an 'Artwork of Dragon Age' (or similar) if it featured your art!
About Bianca: I've actually lost track of whether Varric's crossbow is called that in game or whether it's a forum thing? If it is called that in game does this suggest we might have 'Asala'-like dilemma's when it comes to deciding what weapon he might use?

One of his war-cries even involves it.

I seem to recall Mary saying that he's in his early 30's. Maybe she could come in and confirm that, but I don't know, she hasn't been here much, lately. I wonder if we've scared her off.
Edit: Speak of the devil.
I appear to be the oldest one in the thread.
Do not fear young ones. I am probably the oldest one here. I've got more than a decade of life lived than you do Named. I'll just let you youngsters do the math on this one.
