I'm honestly not too fond of that shot in particular. Hard to say why. I like the other images better.

Pleasantly guilty here. Varric and Bianca make a lovely alternative to the default Win 7 blue wallpaper in my laptop. Is it just me, though, or does that particular in-game model of Varric has less wrinkles than what we see in the Rise to Power trailer? Do the npcs noticeably age in the ensuing 10 years? *curious*

That's exactly what I thought! I mean, I thought he looked a lot younger in that screenshot than he does when being interrogated by Cassandra. That would be something different, wouldn't it? I wonder if Carver and Bethany and our Hawke, no matter what she/he looks like, if they'll age?

The new Varric pictures are quite different from the original blurs and concept art images from back when people were complaining about the Qunari having horns. The new Varric has a bare chin, looks considerably younger, and has paler skin than the concept art Varrics.

Dang I missed out on a lot. Erm Im 18 and my first game that I really got into....Nintendogs XD The first noncasual game was TLoZ Twighlight Princess on Gamecube,I think my adventure/rpg gaming all started there.So yeah I was 13,14? when I started to really get into gaming.Oh sure I had always played video games before then casually on the gamecube or DS but I think that game really made me realize how freaking awesome video games are. *cough* Anyway just wanted to throw that in and also I played KH too x3 BUT back on topic!...Varric is AWESOME x3

As with most other forumites lurking about on this thread, were it up to me, I would have Varric and Bianca as my desktop.
Alas -quite aside from the fact that the screenshot in question would clash with my desktop layout-,  the threat of severe bodily harm and loss of experience prevents me from removing the Tattered Spire.

I have a Cerberus Space Station as my background. It replaced my Kashmir Restaurant concept art. I might replace it with a DA2 background at some point in the future, once BioWare has revealed the other characters and I can shop them all together. Can't put Varric there on his lonesome.

You know, I went to facebook, did a search....and noticed that Varric Thethras isn't on Facebook!!!!

You'd think that he would be on there and doing his thing

Edit:  Although the Garret Hawke (he misspelled his own name) is quite entertaining
