Varric looks soooooo much better now than he did there. They *must* have tweaked his model because that can't all be lighting and angle.

I think that picture is back when he had facial hair (or at least looks like it). So that probably causes him to look different even if his facial features haven't been altered.

XDDD yeah. Looks about the same to me though. They seem to have some way to make wrinkles appear when characters are emoting, did you notice that in Origins? I just did yesterday, while my new Warden was talking to Leliana o_o

i noticed, that's why i tweaked my warden's face (the one i'm currently using as my avatar) to the point that he has an almost perfect bone structure when he's talking or emoting:lol:

I think they overdid it a bit in Origins. I would be talking to Leli or Alistair and all of a sudden be all "GAH you just aged 30 years before my eyes!!"

It might have been a bit much but it's still an amazing feature o_o It was so natural I didn't even notice until now.

I found this especially bad with a female elf. The way those eyes squinted sometimes.

I think it's a bit more noticeable on PC at max res because I don't recall being weirded out by it when I played the PS3 version.

Aaaaaand now I want one of those faux Facebook pages for DA2 with all the different characters chatting etc. I know you can make Twitter accounts but nothing like that has cracked me up as much as a photoshopped facebook home page (i saw one for ME2 once, it's strangely brilliant.)
