This is a quickly-drawn parody of Fable 3's Albion Ale Girl poster, which is one of my favourite loading screens in the game. Varric is pretty much the perfect height for this, so hey!

You know, every time I saw that poster in Fable 3 I thought "That's totally how my Hawke is going to act with her LI". I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who thought that.

Though I also always thought the guy in the original poster looked like Carver, so I don't exactly know where I was going with this... o.O

Thanks! Funny you should mention that, because my love for drawing expressions pretty much determined my workload while I was storyboarding for a recently broadcasted animated series. Generally sequence division when getting new scripts would go like this:

Colleague A: Hey, there's a lot of emo sequences in this episode.
Colleague B: Let's dump those on Aimo 
Me: WHUT.

First, what does "QFT" mean? I always thought it meant "Quit Fracking Talking" but that doesn't really fit the context here...



Second, I know you don't normally take requests Aimo, but would there be any chance sometime in the future you could do something with V and Bianca?

Maybe; I'm actually a bit fussy about getting armor/equipment details right, so I'd draw more Bianca if her concept art or more multi-angle shots are around. Weird, I know.

Obviously, a solution for that is to put them in situation which doesn't require much clothing

(well, solution for the armour part at least...)

I suspect the other companions are jealous of all the awesome art Varric gets from these gals. They're not just good drawings, but full of character and humor.

Indeed! We've already began to suck Alistair into our Varric-madness.. time to show the other Origins companions some extra love, methinks (I do feel sorry for the Origins companions a bit, most of them didn't have cool unique outfits like the DA 2 companions).

You need to complete the Zevran romance. It is my favorite romance and can end up being very sweet
