...I reeeeeally want Beef Bauginon for dinner now
Just thinking about the rich, flavour infused meaty meal that is Varric has me longing for it

provided that you have the right software, anyone can do a pretty decent Beef Bourgignon provided they have a slow cooker (trust me, you don't want to spend 1/2 the day over the stove watching the meal so it doesn't burn)

You know, I actually prefer Spenser to Shakespeare (then again, like Milton, Spenser just had the one magnum opus :)

It does take a little bit to get into the rhyming scheme of Spenser though, but once you get used to it, you're golden

Ah, it needs red wine. I don't drink and I don't have permission to use it <_<

Sad thing is that I'm currently concentrating on what Lady Hawke is eating thanks to all this food talk going on. /sigh

It looks like cheesecake to me. But then again, everything looks like cheesecake to me.

Oh and Hamlet was my favorite Shakespeare play out of the ones I read. Though I really should read the rest of them sometime.

@Dhiro lol, French food is not really my area of expertise, but I don't think that particular dish is very difficult.

King Lear is my favorite, but "Cordelia" would have been a little hard to fit into a battle cry. And Taming of the Shrew is a framed narrative.

I don't think I ever said what food Sten would be.  I think he'd have to be a really dark Mexican chocolate. It's the only flavor I can think of as "profoundly sarcastic."

It's not like you can get drunk off it. Usually most of the alcohol is cooked away (I think). Now rum cake on the other hand. Mmm rum cake.

Note: Man, I've been edit crazy today. And Mary has me craving some Mexican hot chocolate. Must go to store that sells Mexican foods.

I don't drink either, but it's there for flavour rather than for its alcohol content.  It all boils down (pardon the pun) to i you like the flavour of the wine or not...

I would've loved to hear Varric say "Hello, salty goodness!"

Even though there's many uses for it (as demonstrated in this thread), I'd rather have one that didn't involve chest hair.

I'm guessing that we'll get seven of them

Aveline
Bethany
Isabella
Varric
Carver (seen in screenshots)
Hawke's mom (since if you can save Carver or your mother, it's a given that she's the final c ompanion)
The DLC character

This is probably going to be it. Oh, and Varric is going to be the only male LI. Live with it.

No.

And, no.

Indeed. This can't be it, no way.

It's not. I've already said we haven't announced all the potential companions yet.

As I said on that thread: Ah-hah! You just implied that he isn't the only male LI!
Word of god, mr. Gaider. Word of God.

Ima taking this a confirmation  Edit: If I'm not shot down, it shall become reality! Pray for me, Varric lovers, pray.

I had no idea Sten was so delicious.

I haven't read King Lear OR Taming of the Shrew, actually (or a bunch of others). Hm, maybe something to work on over Christmas.

@Temet Nosce: She's eating pie according to Aimo, but she never said what kind.

Meh, the missles have been launched already. They wouldn't shoot you down as it would confirm either way if Varric is a LI or not.

Yes because more salt in a margarita would certainly be out of place. ;)

Sobriety, inhibitions, and panties mix terribly with margaritas.
