I'm blaming the Varric thread for the dream I had this afternoon while napping. I dreamed I was a male dwarf infiltrating a castle(I think) building but I was using all kinds of Assassin's Creed style wall climbing and such. I stabbed a servant that spotted me and then I woke up.

Same voice helps, and it helps that Mary is writing him...but if V is anything like Leske was for the Dwarf Commoner (pre 2nd go at Orzamar), then he will have exceeded the term "awesome" and we will have to come up with another term (I would suggest using "Varric"...as in "that interview by Heather Rabatich is SO Varric!")

We may not have had a confirmation on sexual preferences/romance for the new elf companion, but I will be sad if he's gay or bi. I'm all for the joke "It's not gay if it's an elf," but I don't want it to be a trend.

By the way, elf dude has no revealed name so he doesn't make my drawing. Not really relevant, but names are important to me.

And remember, everyone:

I'll just say that no matter what the Elf throws at me I still prefer the idea of Varric as a love interest if it came down to one or the other. Just sayin'.



It would be a double blow for me anyway seeing as I had high hopes for a female Elven warrior love interest and that doesn't look likely right now.

The main reasons I say warrior (should it happen at all) are: Velanna and the temporary Dalish Elf Origin companion were both 'magi', and a rogue just seems too Zevran-y (no matter how different the characters are) and atypical (ohh and dextous Elven archer...). Plus Ariane from Witch Hunt was pretty cool I thought. Which reminds me, I want Finn to return in some fashion.

And... I don't know why but I think Varric and a female Elven warrior would get on strangely well. I hope you are correct regardless though.

@Pseudo: LOVE Varric's expression. Not to mention the idea behind the picture overall, your drawings so often have a hilarious concept backing them up!
