Since I'm on these boards doing cleanup anyway, it has come to my attention that this thread suffers from a severe lack of staying on-topic. I give it one chance to return to all things Varric and nothing but Varric, otherwise I will take the various forays into other realms of discussion as a sign you guys have discussed all things Varric and I can close the thread.

Varric still triumphs over Meg. I really don't know what the fuss is about (Varric has an awesome smirk and a great chestly mane).

This is what happened. I saw the elf thread on top of the page and went "ooooh". i thought something awesome would appear. I downloaded the pdf and... disappoint.

To be completely honest I don't really go for looks and stuff. Mostly looks are just an extra plus.
Exhibit A: Zevran. Annoyingly fake accent. Strange blonde and tan combo (I don't geddit). But almost every playthrough I kick Alistair aside and go for Zev. Why? His flirting and occasional crazy (but not the "lashes in a jar" crazy though! more sex obsessed crazy.).

So far, the bits of dialogue and info from Mary has made me truly fall for Varric. He's kinda like... Oh how to describe...

I wonder if Varric will have the opportunity to visit Orzammar with Hawke. Somehow, I think not. But maybe he can visit that other dwarven city that is still there... What's the name of it? Kal Sharok? Kal Sharok is located in the Hunterhorn Mountains, which is between Orlais and the Anderfels. I suppose that's a bit too far to travel.
