Oh good grief, I feel so stupid! I completely forgot about him. Here I was thinking Wesley Crusher from Star Trek.


Do you think Varric will be slightly sensitive to other people's feelings? Like if Aveline is feeling down, or Hawke or Bethany (or heck, even Fenris), he'll try to talk to them? He seems to be a lot more refined than Oghren, so I think he'd be more capable of seeing when someone is out of sorts and talking to them about it.  I know most characters don't really give a crap, but I was remembering when Morrigan was harassing Alistair about when he and the female Warden broke up. Maybe it would be something like that, except more like, "Hey, are you okay?"

I would hope so, it'll definitely make for some more interesting banter and make Varric more of a likable character. Hard to beat some of the conversations between Morrigan, Alistair and Oghren though.

Update: Varric cookie suffered a tragic decapitation when my great aunt moved him to take pictures of the cookies. She said the chest hair was the best part. I didn't tell her anything about Varric other than he's a video game character! His design speaks for itself I suppose. Even works on elderly Japanese ladies. So he broke and I ate him. He was, in fact, delicious.
