Mmm... Bartolomeo, I think his name was.
Bartolomeo d'Alviano  I said this before and one of the devs (i think Mary) pin pointed that it's a reference to something else not to him. (Shakespeare?)

I just found that emoticon and had the burning desire to use it. With that said, he does seem like an interesting character to me. Granted, we (or at least I) know very little about him except what's on his character page and that he's narrating to Cassandra. But I do think it would be nice to have a dwarf love interest for Dragon Age 2. I really liked the dwarf storylines in Dragon Age: Origins, particularly the noble because you got exposed to dwarven politics and traditions. Dwarves usually get the short end of the stick in fantasy romances, though, so it'd be nice to have a dwarf as a major LI.

Yeah, there's a lot more information in the first Varric thread, which I believe is in the OP. I'm sorry if I came off as snappish. I'm just so tired of people assuming we're just in it for Varric's luxurious chest hair.

No worries! I'm new to the Bioware;forums, so I'm just learning about memes like the Turian councilor, which you all are probably sick of by now. I actually like Varric's hairstyle too. He's got that neat ponytail bun thingy, which I don't know what it's called. Plus I like his crossbow Bianca. It reminds me of Jayne Cobb and his gun Vera from Firefly. IFirefly.

Haha. I'd like to see a conversation between Varric and the Turian councilor. Based off of the description of Varric and the brief scene of him talking in the Rise to Power trailer, a war of words between them would be epic.
December 27th is the new Christmas! This line, in particular, made me almost choke on my own laughter. It hurt, but I like to think it was worth it, hahahah.Mary Kirby wrote...
Varric: I like the part where Chuckles keeps referring to himself as a "council."

Varric: Are you sure? I haven't even gotten to the part where Hawke taught the Archdemon the True Meaning of Friendship yet. No? Oh well.
Isabela: You see? This is what lack of sex does to a person. Tragic, really.
