I have a question about DLC. I already have a thread about it but still, this is Varric related.
If Varric tells the story of Hawke, how will he do it with DLC? Tell the story of the DLC as well?

"Oh hey, I almost forgot. There was this one time where Hawke partied with the Arishok, good times"
[DLC starts]
Framed narrative is pretty much perfect to make DLC for.

Yay, maybe I'll be finally able to conclude or lead up to the morality choice poll in Act 1.
Varric wiped the sweat off his brow, repairing the staircase proved far more difficult than he had anticipated it to be. He had expected the quest to involve killing dozens of monsters, probably save the pretty princess and walk back home with her in his loving arms. Carrying planks up a thousand steps repeatedly had none of these.
Varric would've declined the quest and swam to Ferelden himself if it wasn't for the poor instructions in the game, he'd try to access the menus by shouting random commands but none of them ever worked. He'd swear under his breath and dredge foward, only... 600 planks to go.
As he climbed the stairway feeling faint, he heard Sebastian giggling but couldn't see him past the planks and continued foward, the giggling turned into restrained laughter as he approached him. After arriving to the top, Varric put down the planks and stared at Sebastian's strained face.
"You do know we've been done repairing the staircase for around two hours, right?" Varric looked towards the left of Sebastian and saw a dozen piles of planks, all neatly stacked up. He wondered how he didn't notice but sighed, too tired to be angry at Sebastian for not informing him. Sebastian continued, "Would've told you sooner but it was just too funny and you needed the experience."
Varric was relieved, he could finally stop carrying the planks and can finally relax, maybe kill something while he's cooling off. Sebastian kept giggling as Varric threw the planks down the staircase to continue on his quest, Varric raised a brow.
"What's so funny?"
"Your coat is downstairs."
"Son of a-"
