Brian Bloom really eclipses Cassandra's VO. By like, a mile and a half. Goddamn, they choose some good VAs for dwarves. Oghren was irritating in Origins but brilliant in Awakening (I have no idea why). If Tethras has lines that are even half decent, the voice will do the rest.

Thought they're both good -- Cassandra's is deliciously matte with intriguing accent and Varric is more rough/vibrant with bit over the top delivery that fits a storyteller. They complement each other in a way.

Come to think of it... His reflexes seem a bit dull for a rogue, considering he didn't try to dodge or block the book, only put a mean face at it.
I await to see how he turns the interrogatory upside down.

It might be consequence of my dirty mind, but I'm imagining Cass cracking a whip and going "You've been a naughty boy!" and Varric is all "Yes mistress, punish me!"



Seriously though, I'm looking foward to see the dynamic between those two develop. It'll be hilarious.
