That poster is wrong. There are eight companions counting your sibling and DLC, unless the companion wheel in the book is designed to be misleading.

I'm actually thinking that the picture in the book (That smacks poor Varric right on the forehead) is misleading.  Either that or that picture just shows people in the "Legend" that are more prominent/important than others.  Or maybe ones you can't kill off or something?  I dunno.  My brain is hurting from trying to warp space-time so it would be March 8th already...

Sadly... there's a high chance that Fenris and "Anders" are the LI. "Anders" probably the straight LI and Fenris the s/s. Dhiro is sad.

I don't think they'd make the elf bisexual in two games right after each other. Cliche is cliche. Let's have Anders be the s/s option, thanks. That'll redeem him. A little. (Not really.)

You know what would put people in a twist? Varric as the bisexual lover.
But then we'd have again both bisexual characters being rogues. Argh.

If you want to go with what Mark Darrah said about there being the same amount of LI's in DA2 as in DAO, you have three people. Two of the opposite sex, and one of the same sex as your character. I think we know Isabela is bi-sexual, so she's our same-sex option. For females, you can have Varric, Fenris, BMG (Anders). One of them has to be straight, one of them has to be bisexual for the male s/s romance. I'm guessing that the s/s for males is Anders. Because he seems rather careful about his appearance and metrosexual, so I'm going with him. That leaves Fenris and Varric. Fenris doesn't like to be touched, it hurts him, according to David Gaider in the Fenris thread. So I'm going with Varric as our last straight LI.

I don't know what to think about Anders. He's attractive, yes. He's just... annyoing. Alistair was, usually, sarcastic to other people and is aways friendly to the PC... well, most of the time. Anders looks like he's just trying to annoy you. For some reason, I thought that Nathaniel was more likeable. Probably because I wanted to hug him :<
