Bianca also doubles as a stepladder, so Varric can reach that jar of whatever on the top shelf! Comes in super handy for kissing, right?

Based off the recoil that you can see in the Destiny? trailer (the groin shot one) I bet Bianca can literally launch Varric up into the air.
Hawke: I want a kiss!
Varric: Yes Ma'am
Bianca: *ka-chunka*
Carver: OW MY FOOT. YOU SHOT MY MAKER GIVEN FOOT!
*kiss*

Sadly... there's a high chance that Fenris and "Anders" are the LI. "Anders" probably the straight LI and Fenris the s/s. Dhiro is sad.

Being short is not an issue. I am short and have reached the dwarf to man height ratio when dating a rather tall person. Believe me, the logistics often work themselves out.

As a cautious request from the casual reader, is there any way the OP could be made so that it's easier to read? It's fun to look through the new things the forumites here come up with, but it's getting exponentially harder and harder to do so.

@Trivia (for whenever she wakes up
because of the time difference)...Have you thought about "Fine Dwarven
Craft" for a subtitle?

Pain is pain is pain. It doesn't really matter how much or how little it is. I know I wouldn't want to do anything to hurt the person I had feelings for, though that's just my standpoint on things, I'm sure.
The Fenris thread might argue "maybe he likes it."
The fangirl appeal of a man in suffering is apparently tremendous.

What could happen:
Varric: And that's all I can tell you about Hawke. Are we done here Miss Pentaghast? I have my nightcap waiting for me at the tavern on the other side of town.
Cassandra: (Placing dagger at Varric's throat) Your not telling me something, you and the champion seemed awfully close for friends. Is there something that I should know, or will my dagger have to to the talking?
Varric: My dear Seeker, your accusations cut me to the core! What makes you think that a woman like her would ever be interested in a dwarf like me?
Cassandra: (placing pressure on dagger) Are you sure that's your final answer?
Varric: Look, whatever we had, it didn't last. With the offers that she got from other men after she became the champion any chance I had with her went out the window. Now that the sad state of my love life is out in the open, can I go?
Cassandra: Very well. Templar, see that Mr. Tethras here is escorted out of the building.
(the templar picks Varric up and walks out the door, once the pair make it safely out into the streets of Kirkwall, the templar kisses Varric.)
Varric: What did I tell you my dear, the Mirror of Transformation does good work, that Chantry girl didn't even recognize you. Now, let's get to the Emporium and change you back, I miss seeing your sunny smile.
Hawke: (annoyed) I'll give you a sunny smile. You almost got yourself killed with that performance you gave back there. Seeing the man I love killed in front of me was not apart of the plan.
Varric: I was never in any danger sweetheart, being House Tethras' master of spies mean that under this dashing exterior lies an extraordinary sense of caution. Besides, with what we got from Lady Stabbity back there my people can find out what is going on with the Chantry. Now could you please put me down?
Hawke: No, I think that I'll just keep carrying you around the whole of Kirkwall, someone has to keep you out of trouble.
Varric: Did I ever tell you that being your personal source of trouble is the best thing that ever happened to me?
Hawke: (smiling) You could stand to mention it more.
(the two continue down the streets of Kirkwall)
