I just pictured some poor Seeker underling with an easel and paint listening to someone describe the characters from memory.

"Well, she had really big--"
"These are head shots, sir."
"But they were really big."
"That's not helping me paint a likeness of her face."
"You'll have an easier time getting people to identify her if you paint a bust. Seriously."

LMAO...Cassie has poor underlings going around showing pictures of Isabela's bust and posterior (hey, her thong is identifiable according to some threads ;) asking:  "excuse me sir, have you seen these?" :)

I really doubt she's going to tempt the wrath of Gaider and Priestly and spill something like that.

I guess the salient question about Cass' book would be what exactly she suspects about the six characters in the diagram. Just people likely to know where to find Hawke or is it something more complex?

Well, it wasn't so much begging as it was bribery...but I guess the wrath of gaider and evil chris probably outweighs the benefits of reese :)

I do have to wonder two things, however.  First, Is Varric the first "witness" that Cassie pulled in for questioning and, if so, could future DLC include events in the game in a different perspective (ie. would we see events from multiple perspectives).  Although I don't think consumers would be happy playing the same parts of the game from a different perspective (complaints would most likely be that Bioware would be rehashing stuff for a cash grab).  Or, a thought that just popped into my head, they might have Cassie bring in another companion to recollect events during the time gaps (although that would be difficult if some permanent companions are "optional" to recruit)

They all seem like they'd be suspicious to someone with ties to the Chantry. Apostate, apostate, pirate fraternizing with apostates, municipal worker (if a city guard can be called that) fraternizing with apostates, runaway property, and most suspect of all... a dwarf. All possibly united under an apostate or someone protecting an apostate sibling.

Edit: And one of those apostates might be a blood mage to boot.

True, they're not exactly model Andrasteans.

One of the many reasons I am absurdly interested in this particular cast of characters.

Nah. Mary's been gone because she's been sadly crying in a corner of the office since I haven't appeared to grace this thread properly in so long.

Sheryl and Mary need their Princey, so here I am.

Sheryl has repeatedly said you don't have to romance Isabela, have her as a companions, or even meet her. I'm guessing that the 'hexagons' are filled in as we play at that image comes from the very end.

The image we see is from a specific game and doesn't necessarily mean that everyone will get those companions or that image.

Those are a list of Cassandra's suspects. Not necessarily Hawke's best buddies. Isabela has an important role to play in the story, even if you never meet her. You just won't find out the answer to a particular question at a certain time if you don't.

A list of Cassandra's unusual suspects? B)

I like that important events happen even if the PC ignores something. It gives the sense of a larger world that doesn't rotate around the player.

You know it's kinda funny when I read the other threads and there's jokes about how Varric watches Hawke sexytiemz and stuff...

If Varric is confirmed to be a Love Interest, he could tell Cassandra all about him and Hawke getting together for the first time... every lurid detail...

Ahh... That's what you get for asking the dwarf to speak, love.

She's having a really bad day.

She must be. She just handed Varric a book filled with her investigations and she doesn't stop to think how he could use that for his own (and Hawke's) ends?
