I've been a follower of this thread since it had first started, but have only since recently began posting in the forums. My main haunt had been the Fenris forums, but after the past few days I really haven't agreed w/ the direction some of it's posters seemed to be going in, and found myself visiting it less and less often.

If you have anything serious or silly about Varric to discuss, do share them. Right now silly overpowers because we don't know much about V than what we've miraculously managed to fish from the devs or compile from the previews...I suppose the meaty conversations will multiply once the game comes out.

I think the problem with the thread at the moment is that we basically know as much as we can about Varric without really playing the game.  Hell, we guessed (ok moon guessed  the voice actor without hearing anything

Myself, I haven't seen a DA2 character yet that I don't like, but my favorites are Varric, Cassandra and Fenris so far.

@aimo: I would not have expected Reese's cups ice cream in Malaysia, to be honest. I thought the PB+chocolate obsession was mostly American.

And those characters I mentioned are my favorites by a slim margin, and mostly because of their character design. It's like trying to pick a favorite ice cream flavor! Want them all. :3

There's an international supermarket 15 mins away from my place, so they have a lot of imported foodstuff there. I didn't buy Reese, but I did buy a huge tub of Umpqua French Vanilla which was on sale too...that is some fiiiiiine ice-cream, I'll tell you that :9

That picture of Varric as a Centaur strangely reminds me of my sister's Corgi...I think it's the short legs. That, and the fact that he is the single most charming dog I have ever had the pleasure to meet.



Hm...I might have to suggest a name change the next time I see her
