I discovered a website interviewed a majority of ME1 and 2 characters' voiceovers and I was squeeing from here to Canada... They've got just so many of them covered! I hope they would do the same thing with DAO and DA2 characters...

Can I get a link to that one you mentioned pls???

I always wanted the Deep Road battle encounters to be like Left 4 Dead when a massive horde of weak baddies come out of nowhere.  This looks pretty cool.  Good thing Varric doesn't put kill markings on Bianca, otherwise it'd get quite cluttered.

It gives me the warm fuzzies to see other people posting in here. 

Bianca looks AMAZING in that new screenshot, though the graphics do look a little... off. But! That is not to be discussed here. We've seen Varric in his full high-quality state, and it was good. 

I also had a dream that there was confirmation about CERTAIN information a lot of us have been waiting for. But... nope.

I wonder if we get to visit a thaig. I'd like to see how they spruced up the more major dwarven architecture. It might be my ignorance of fantasy media at large talking but I thought some of the interiors in Orzammar were the most unique in the game*. Loved the weird room partitions and the use of really thin metal-ish elements.



*the interior of the windmill is still my favorite. Verticality! Moving stuff! More verticality and animated environmental elements please :>

And the topic for the thread is also a great incentive. I love unconventional couples and I like what we've seen of Varric's character so far. So if he is confirmed as a LI I would be a verry happy girl indeed.

I wasn't around before origins launched so I am curious -- do they ever announce love interests ahead of time or is this something we have to discover in the game once it's out? I love the idea of Varric as a romantic interest, but at the same time, I don't want to crusade hard for someone that ends up not being a love interest after all that. =p

Morrigan, Leliana and Zevran were confirmed to be LIs in their character trailers.
Alistair was confirmed in a thread created by one of the DEVS (Chris Priestly I think)

I was hoping for the same! Then again, I'm willing to wait another week or so until February 1st! It was mentioned somewhere that there were plans for something then. I'm hoping for a video about Hawke with an attached CC. A girl can dream!

Agreed! If he was just a random storyteller, they wouldn't have made him so good-looking, would they? I mean, come on, good story tellers don't have to be smokin' hot. They just have to be good at telling stories. :3 Plus, I think a dwarf that good-looking could turn anyone to embracing the fact that human/dwarven relations aren't as bad as they originally thought~

As I was goofing off concentrating at work, a conversation between Carver and Varric popped into my head!

Note: Fem!Hawke is named Margaret (duh.)

Carver and Varric are strolling the streets of Kirkwall, making their way to Varric's home for a meeting with a weapons dealer when Varric decides to make small talk.

Varric: You know, Carver, among one of my many philosophies, my favorite would be "Love Thy Neighbor".

The pair stop infront of Varric's home, and Carver casually glances at the building next to Varric's. His face twists into a look of horror as he reads the sign that is posted infront of the neighboring building "Sassy Nugs With Jugs".

Carver: B-but you live right next to.....a b-brothel!

Varric: (looks at the building next to his own, his lips curling into a nefarious smirk) So I do, young Carver! Maybe I should aquaint you with the residents? They are quite homey--

Carver: (frantically runs from Varric, arms flailing and in the air) MAAARGAARET!!
