When you have the finest tailors in Kirkwall making sure that you're adorned with the most fantastic clothes in the Free Marches you would do one of two things:  have a costume change every scene (which, while fantastic, would delay the game indefinitely as Mary would keep filing bugs complaining that Varric was not dressed classy enough in scene x) or never have a costume change because he looks just damn good

I know how you feel. Up until then I've always looked at Varric as just the stocky, narrator friend of Hawke, then that vid came out and I was all "WHOA! Hellooo Varric"  If there is no option to flirt with him after he tosses Hawke that satchel or whatever, I just don't think there will be any justice left in the world...

I'm pretty sure that, even if he is not a romance, you can totally flirt with him. After all, you could flirt with Oghren and Sten in DA:O, so even if it didn't go anywhere, I don't see why it wouldn't at least be an option. A cruel, cruel option of lies and sadness, but an option.

That occurred to me, too. I was shocked when I realized how precise the finger movements were and how perfectly they matched up with the bolt. I wonder who they found capable of object twirling goodness, and if it was scripted in or if it was added later on in the animation stage.

Your sense of style is so incredibly hot. I just. thought. I'd say that. 

BUT YES. I hope he changes his outfit. Maybe into another, similarly revealing shirt and coat. I don't want any armor covering up dat chest. Oh, no, sirs and ma'ams. No covering up the chest. That's his source of power, after all.

DA2 invariably ends with Hawke doing the finger-gun towards the camera and saying "bang" before falling over, and then the credits roll.

To be fair, I'd expect this post to be in the Fenris thread (no offense)... I mean, at least this thread is 5 months old and has 497+ pages. The Fenris thread is only a month old and already has 489+, I'd even give it a week to surpass the posts in this thread...

Er... H-Hello! This is my first time ever posting here, but I've been following since... oh, page 100 or so. I wanted to take the opportunity to tell you all that you have been an absolutely boundless source of joy for me in these long months of waiting... and waiting... and waiting for March.
Oh, and y'all made a Varric fan out of me right away, might I add! Not that I needed much of a push, of course, what with Bianca, and the earrings, and the chest hair, and the unadulterated awesome...
