Er... H-Hello! This is my first time ever posting here, but I've been following since... *snip*

Welcome amongst our forces, drink from the chalice of wine and be forever embraced in the chest hair.

^I did end up staring at this for at least fifteen minutes before realizing what I was doing. I keep wondering how he manages to do that with gloves on, however... Just mad skill, I suppose.

Welcome!

Varric has really nimble fingers. Awww yeaaaaah.

I read that as very nibble fingers and was confused.

He, uh, must be really good with his hands to have coordination like that. Yep.

He'd probably be able to do the arrow trick with a bottle of alcohol and have none of it spill.

What if I'm doing nothing? Should I do something?

I wonder if they put other things in instead of the bolt like they did for the Isabela-dagger-throw scene.

Love interest or no, you are all freaking awesome for elevating his chest hair to legendary status in all of Dragon-Agedom. Our next mission is to lobby for a Varric shirt in the Bioware store, *nods.*

Oh my god, I want a shirt like that, but with Varric's coat/undershirt design. I would buy that so fast.

Good god do I want that. I would never wear it, because I'd spend all day explaining the joke. But I still want one.

Sort of... weird question, though if you could introduce companions to MamaHawke how do you think she'd feel about Varric?

Bioware Store take notes, this shirt needs to be done in Varric-style.

The chest hair should be fake fur sewn on.

How would she feel about? I think she would start "feeling" him. He's so soft and cuddly. I'm pretty sure Mama Hawke would approve of a classy dwarf.

He'd be like Spike and Joyce. She'd be completely unaware of his misdeeds and get The Best Varric, and you wouldn't be able to convince her otherwise. She'd be talking to Hawke and Varric would be behind her miming grabbing her butt. Or something.

I need to watch Buffy again. /nostalgia

I think she might be a little taken aback by how charming he is.

Like everyone else.

Including dwarf haters.

Hawke: Mother, we need to talk.
MamaHawke: Not now, we have company.
Hawke: Oh real- *sees Varric * You.
Varric: Hey champ.
MamaHawke: He showed up, told me how you were surrounded by Darkspawn.
Hawke: Only because he lured us into them, leaving us to our fates.
MamaHawke: Is that true, Varric?
Varric: I'm sorry?
*MamaHawke nods, gives Varric some cookies*
Hawke: What? You're going to take that?!
MamaHawke: He said he's sorry.
*Varric does sad puppy dog eyes*
MamaHawke: Awwwwe, who can stay mad at that little face? *MamaHawke pinches Varric's cheeks*
Hawke: But... he aband-
MamaHawke: Enough is enough!
*MamaHawke turns around to grab more cookies, Hawke looks at Varric and Varric winks*

Okay, yes, Varric totally scamming on Hawke for cookies needs to happen. Or just scamming on Hawke for lulz. Either/or. SO. PRECIOUS.

The thing that impresses me most about Varric lies in this screenshot....

Ok, outside of Bianca (oh beautiful Bianca!) and the chest hair, the thing that impresses me most is actually his belt....I don't know why, but the design of it is fascinating to me.  On a schoolyard level, I have to think "how does the poor guy get his business done when it seems like a pain to take off", but from a design aspect, it's just fascinating

^ My ribs hurt so badly from suppressing laughter, at the moment.

And on a side note: Aaaawww, no cookies for Hawke, too? *sniffle* That's cold, MamaHawke. That's cold. And all part of some nefarious, cookie-usurping plot by rival Varric, no doubt.
