I'm really looking forward to the trailer, nearly as much as I'm looking forward to the knee-jerk gibberish that will follow.

Any idea what time it will be released GMT?

Like throwing a cow in with a bunch of hungry sharks.  OMNOMNOMNOM

And since we're in Daylight Savings in the states, I believe 10AM Eastern Daylight Time would be 2 PM GMT.  Someone wanna double-check?

Anyone know when the conference goes live for those of us in GMT? I didn't realise it was trailer time already, the past couple of weeks have flown by for me, no doubt to do with essay writing. Edit: My bad, didn't see the post above. 2pm, awesome!

Spoiler wise I find it's a tricky balance. Reveal some things on a drip feed of sorts, just to keep you going until release. However as Dave said I felt overly spoiled by following all the DAO stuff, you have to leave enough surprises in there!

Consider my hatches battened.

I fully intend to stay within the forum safezones. Like this one. Only going out to pipe up and set fools straight on occasion.

Yes this thread will be a sanctuary. I'm busy installing a Zen rock garden and soothing fountain.

The last bastion against a tide of negativity that will pour over the helpless forum covering it all it touches in flames and ignorance. Here at this 'last homely thread' there will be safe harbour for those poor souls genuinely excited by the new trailer giving them hope of a time when the naysaying might finally die down and have to eat it's words.

Just checked, that's correct, I get to have a big, massive lie in, admire my chest hair and roll out of bed, grab a coffee and a tab, then not watch the trailer as too many other people are watching it at the same time.

This thread is going off-topic again, it's about Varric and chest hair!

Mary mentioned wine a few times.

He's a refined gentleman. Of course it's wine.

Indeed, wine and certain fine spirits I would guess.

Yet he's dressed in a similar attire to that of a pirate, Rum wouldn't have been out of the question.

Rum also rhymes with yum, so it's fitting considering who's drinking it.

If Varric is in the trailer, I really hope he ends up sounding like Studs Terkel.

If you don't know who Studs Terkel is, your homework for tonight is to find out.

I'd rather want a gruff version of Patrick Stewart for Varric's voice.

Hmm he could do it in his native Yorkshire accent like in Dad Savage.

I personally think Edward James Olmos would make a sweet Varric voice. He's got that soft, masculine, raspy thing going for him.

I'd like Thomas Kretschmann for Varric's voice, I always like to hear genuine foreign accents, much like Leliana.

Edward James Olmos would be sweet too.

Varric: ... and then we climbed out of the Deep Roads, I told Hawke to head off and warn Kirkwall and I stayed behind.
Cassandra: What happened next?
Varric: I died.
<Varric fades away>
Cassandra: Wat.

Not enough suave. EJO is more just straight badass. He is more of a Canderous type of guy than a Varric.

I just can't think of a male with a suave voice who speaks without an English accent. This is the closest I've ever heard to what I'm imagining. Sob.
