Nope.That is another word which means "Luck and Fortune". While the pronounciation of the word "upside down" similar to that of "arrive". Putting two together means "Luck and Fortune arrived".

Depends on the word. In this case, no. The visual-spoken pun doesn't work with this character.

The Community College I went to was overflowing with rabbits.  Unfortunately for the rabbits, they got lazy and fat eating on college peoples' crumbs and the Coyotes got wise to it.

Anyways, I just had a completely strange thought.  If Varric were in the real world, what kind of car would he drive?  Or truck?  I just picture Varric driving down the interstate with a Peterbuilt with his arm resting on the open window.  I have no idea why.

I think I'm having one of those bored into oblivion days...

Crispy Peking Nug

- Medium-sized nug, moderately fleshy
- 20 pieces thin wheat-flour pancake

- Coating:
  - 1.5 tablespoon sugar
  - 1.5 teaspoon cornflour
  - 1 teaspoon red rice vinegar (or half teaspoon white vinegar)

- Garnishing:
  - 1/2 (half) cucumber, cut to 5cm lengths
  - 8 scallions, cut to 5 cm lengths
  - 2 or 3 red chillies, finely sliced

- Sauce:
  - 4 tablespoons hoisin (海鮮) sauce
  - 2 tablespoons peanut butter
  - 2 tablespoons sesame seed oil
  - 2 tablespoons rice wine

Preparing Nug:

• Clean and dry nug.
• Boil approx. 30 cups of water in large saucepot.
• Turn off heat when water boils, plunge nug into hot water and hold down for 1 minute
• Remove nug, boil water again.
• Repeat (3) and (4) for about 4 or 5 times.
• Tie string around nug neck. Hang in cool dry place. Leave for 4 hours
• Add coating ingredients together with 10 tablespoons boiling hot water.
• Brush coating over nug evenly.
• Hang for another 4 hours.
• Brush another coating.

Roasting Nug:

• Preheat oven to 450 F or 230 C.
• Place nug on a wire rack above a roasting pan in the preheated oven.
• Roast for 8 to 10 minutes.
• Turn nug, roast for 8 to 10 minutes.
• Reduce the oven temperature to 350 F or 180 C. Roast for a further 30 minutes, breast side on top. Watch that skin does not burn!
• Roast til skin turns golden brown. Turn off oven, remove nug from oven.

Carve nug into thin pieces of flesh with skin attached. Serve with pancakes, garnishing and sauce.

Lovely art, Aimo. I like the feel of the colors and shadows, specially on Lady Hawke.

Well...I recently bought a new car, a 2011 Mustang 5.0 GT in candy red exterior, black leather interior, with a glass roof, 19"chrome wheels, all the fixins.  My most recent fantasy is me and Varric driving down the coast road at 90 miles an hour,  I'm giggling maniaclly behind the wheel and Varric is looking at me highly amused.  I think Varric would definietly approve of 408hp, 390 ft/lb of torque.  Besides, red suits him.

it looks great, the only par that looks off to me is the out streatched hand looks too 2d. However the reast of it looks really awesome  just a bit more work and practice and you'll be great I think
