He did seem to be not quite as ruggedly handsome when we first saw that one screenshot of him up behind Mr. Laidlaw at that conference, the one where we were all "..." when we saw it. It's possible that they changed his features in between now and then.

I should have mentioned "conventionally attractive", how ever annoying it is to say it, and Varric does go even under that in my opinion, but not to a lot of people. Was there ever scorn towards Garrus?

He actually doesn't look different to me. They might have changed minor things, but that was just a really bad cap. His face in the bolt twirling scene looks much like the screencap.

The dwarves did *not* have hard angles in their faces at all during Origins. Their faces were round, most of the time (with  few exceptions, like Sean-Penn dwarf like I like to call him, the leader of the dwarven mercenaries sent to kill you in Aeducan Thaig).

Varric's face, on the other hand, is more of the chiseled variety. Might be more of that in DA2, might not, but my point is that we don't know yet. Saying that they made him more attractive than other dwarves is kind of moot at this stage. Especially if you want to say it like a statement of fact.
