I know...I know....I didn't consider any of the dwarves in Origins fat, they all had six pack abs!:happy:Eudaemonium wrote...
In all fairness, he is a dwarf, and dwarves tend to be on the stocky size, which might be fairly easy to confuse with overweight if you didn't know any better. Heresy, I know.

That's processing, if you come out of it with a sane mind then you're one of us.

Stupid rage. Kicking my personal zen garden off of the front page. Methinks Varric wouldn't really want to be around all of that ridiculous negativity anyway.

After gulping down 24 ounces of hot, steaming coffee I was able to regain a semblance of sanity and make the post. Although, I will have nightmares for the rest of my life.

My father worked the trade
'til the day it took his life
Stolen from his only son
And then stolen from his wife
And I swore upon his grave
Someday I would make things right
So I learned how to manipulate fools
I learned how to make them buy
And I watched as they withstood
All the hell I put them through
With bags of coin
There's not a thing I couldn't sell.
They've waited so long for this day
Someone to take the death away
No son would have to say
"Father sold into his grave."
Cassandra:
Varric, listen to yourself
And listen carefully to me
If you replace certain parts
You get a different story
The man who tells the tale
I will listen wherever he leads
We've spent our whole day searching for a way to save this world
Giving everything to them, expecting nothing in return
Well here it is, a chance to take back everything we've earned.
Varric:
They've waited so long for this day
Cassandra:
They've waited so long for this day...
Varric:
Someone to take the death away
Cassandra:
... there is no price they wouldn't pay...
Varric:
No son would ever have to say...
Cassandra:
... for Hawke to lead them!
Varric:
... "Father sold into his grave"
Cassandra:
Don't tell your lies to me!
Varric:
What will I become
with the things I say
I never said Hawke should bow
I never said Hawke should break
I only want what's best
The one I love she works so hard
She fights until she bleeds
Some of the pain she endures
Would bring a strong dwarf to his knees
I only want to help...
Cassandra:
You are a fool.
Varric:
You underestimate Hawke's character.
Cassandra:
Well she is weaker than you think.
Varric:
You'll think she'll surrender because you bind her love interest?
But she is strong!
Cassandra:
Just wait and see.
Varric:
I will recount the chant in a day
Cassandra:
Men would cower at the tale
Varric:
They built towers to the heavens
Cassandra:
Men was not built for such a height
Varric:
We will be heroes!
Cassandra:
You will tell me about heroes!
Varric:
They've waited so long for this day,
Someone to take the death away
No son would have to say
"Father sold into his grave!"
Hawke sleeps tonight all alone
And will awake with rage in her eyes
With this rage she will destroy
And with her hands she will rebuild
And she will rise high above the city
From the top of buildings she will look
At all the lies beneath your feet
She'll cast you down and find me
And with these hands that rescued me
My father's battle will be won!
