Hahah, this. Considering most of the fanart was done when we figured there was no hope of having him as an LI and many have stated his not  being an option won't stop them, you're out of luck, buddy. Good luck finding otherwise in other fanthreads.

Yes, being Romance Week, it looks like the waiting will be over in the next few days.  (or so I think...) The waiting is over for Fenris, I hope it will be the same for Varric with the same result...

You're just going to have to wait until the game comes out before we can start seriously talking about dwarf culture and the social hierarchies of surface dwarves. I'm personally biding my time until we can get a glimpse of dwarven females because ever since they've been humorously described as roller-derby girls, I've been dying to see their new artistic interpretations.

Thats actually very cool of you. Yes I would love to do that, but would never be allowed. Sorry if I come off as trolling, but it's cause I got nowhere to talk about Varric that is absent of the mush (and this cheesy lovey dovey stuff for some reason really gets under my skin. Can't help it... it just bugs me).

As for serious discussion...

Varric is in charge of a "spy network" to "deal" with troubles. This makes me wonder, do we know if Varric is a good guy. That sounds pretty shady to me. By "deal" are we talking whacking any trouble makers. Dwarf politics is a very bloody business afterall.

EDIT- Wow... so he's not a LI. Hmmm. I don't feel as happy as I thought I would. I kinda feel bad for all the people who wanted him to be one.
