Oh, also forgot to mention this when I was giving the little tidbits of info earlier: Gaider said that Mary is writing Varric to be a funny character after having done Sten and Loghain, although I'm wondering what kind of funny he is.

Yeah. I jumped at the chance to write Varric so that I could have a character who actually wanted to talk to the player. Nice change of pace.
