It's just a horrible question to ask.

I really really doubt that anything in Mass Effect is genetically related enough to make interspecies foetuses viable though. Unless it turns out that we were all genetically engineered by the Protheans or something.

On topic: I don't think that's posible. Millions of years ago, I can't remember which sub specie was this.. not sure if it was ****** Ergaster or Erectus... but by the time another new sub specie evolded, the former was extinx even if they cohabited. The reason for this is that their genetic differences were so big. It's like trying to cross a pig and a dog.
Or perhaps I'm totally wrong. I don't know much about genetics.

Even here on Earth, DNA is the merest basis of life, literally the alphabet. Which is why we are now busy decoding the human proteome. DNA does not make people, fish or plants: genes do - or rather, an extraordinarily complex interplay of multiple genes, each busy working on glands and hormones.
(aside: DNA is one of the most inert, non-reactive, in-all-sense-of-the-word dead compounds on the planet. No one really believed it could be at the heart of life until it was proven. That is also why it can be retrieved from old blood and semen in murder investigations.)
I have, as well, never heard a satisfyingly robust argument for carbon as the basis of life. The argument tends to run along lines of solubility and abundance, neither of which are in any way convincing when we study the biology of life forms here on earth, many of whom are completely apart from the oxygen cycle. We are not all oxy-users: whole orders of critters use sulphur and other noxious (to us) compounds for life.
Sci-Fi writers tend to over-simplify their case but also: they are human. They will be subject to all the biases of their artistic nature. Really; the diversity of life in the MASS EFFECT universe is charmingly antiquated - the Hanar are about the only thing that stand out. Watch a few episodes of EARTH and LIFE to see just how inventive life gets just on this one planet of ours, in our one solar system, in our one galaxy.
Of course there is a limit to how alien something can be for any storyline, but C.J. Cherryh and David Brin are two authors who have really stretched their muscles in devising interesting e.t.s

Does anyone know if interspecies pregnancy is possible? I know that there are a lot of interspecies relationships, but is it possible for two different species to have a child together? I want to leave the Asari out of this discussion as their children are all Asari and not a mixture of two species.

I mean, all aliens (except the hanar) already look like humans and apparently they have genitalia which are compatible with ours since we can sleep with them without ill effect.
Why not, interspecies pregnancy wouldn´t be the weirdest thing in the ME universe.

Do Turians have genitalia compatible with ours? Because some days ago I was looking at some concept art and I swear I didn't see anything "down there". Perhaps I'm too naïve and think that concept art might show genitalia...

No, it WOULD be the wierdest thing - by FAR. It's sick, sick, sick to even think about it. Just because they have genitals DOES NOT MEAN you can mate with them. A human can't have children with a dog. A gorilla looks more like a human than any species in Mass Effect, and you can't have children with them.
It's sick. It's the most perverted notion that I have heard suggested for a video game. If Bioware EVER tried something like this, I would never buy any of their games again.

You can have a relationship with Tali as male and Thane and Garrus as a female. Is that wrong? If not why is being able to have a child with them a bad thing?
That doesn't make it normal to have CHILDREN with them. You'd end up with a weird, sterile, hybrid-monster. It would be disgusting. If I were you, I'd take a shower to get those dirty thoughts off you.

You seem to be confusing "morally wrong" and "biologically impossible." One is a matter of opinion, and another is a matter of education.Duke Mathias wrote...
