You like RPG because the way your mind was set up by your genes and the life you lived predisposed you to like it. Not specially RPG, but first it came asbeeing very imaginative as child etc.. step by step you take the path that is yours and make the decisions and choices you were supposed to.
Or, even predisposed you to like it because no one else around you like it.

But it's really not like I'm going to make you change your mind anyway. You're the one who said people used to classify birds as so because they fly...

This annoys me, propel throwing around words like "scientific" and aruging over some sort of genetic favoritism towards RPGs? Wha?

Every reasonable argument has been stated to point out why this is such a terrible, terrible idea. It contradicts everything stated by the games and codex thus far, would provide a horribly cheesy ending, and would do nothing to add any sort of depth or improve the series. The vast majority also think it is a poor idea? What else needs to be said.

If anybody is still arguing in favor of this idea, they are simply insane and wouldn't be convinced even if Bioware's lead developers came in here and said "not going to happen."

I believe this would acually be exactly the kind of thing that would make them keep on arguing in favor of this idea. People love to much beiing insatisfied to let this go. Such an event would light their fire even more. And if it's added to the game, they'll simply find something else to complain about.

It's a bad idea in Mass Effect because it doesn't fit the established canon of Mass Effect.



At the very most, certain interspecies couples could have a child through the use of heavy genetic engineering to use genes from within the mother's species to emulate the desired inheritable traits from the father. The father's actual genes would not be involved.

Technically speaking...no. It's no different than Humans and Animals (pardon the dirty imagery.) Save for Asari, I don't see how it would be possible to for one species to impregnate another.

I find it sexy (pregnant women), the beauty and joy of life. I want my Shepard to end ME3 with Miri telling him she's pregnant.

That would make the perfect backdrop for ME. The Reapers die and life continues.

actually, a Hyena is both feline and canine although leaning more towards feline so thats not entirely hard to believe.

It could be possible, since the story of Mass Effect has not yet deeply gone into the anatomy of any of the species, so we don't know anything. At any rate, if other species could get pregnant from other species(not including asari), then they would probably we hideously deformed and shunned in most communities.

For example, let's take a male turian and a human female.  According to what was explained about the dextro-amino acid thing turians have( or was it another type of amino acid?),  the human taking in the "fluid" that the turian... uh... releases... Forget it.  Just listen to what Mordin said about that stuff.
