Is Hawke a Grey Warden or will he become one. I can't find any info on that, I'm hoping he will become one.

I'm pretty sure the answer is no. Hawke is not fighting the Blight so there would be no reason for him to become one.

he will not become one... the gray warden's probably won't even be a major part of dragon age 2

Doubt that. Greywardenry is old hat. If Bioware wanted us to play another warden i think they would just let us import our character from DAO.

I'm sure I read a quote around here somewhere that confirmed he wouldn't be one, but as others have said I don't see it as likely regardless. The blight is over, and from what we know of Hawke his adventures will lead him in a very different direction. I do hope we bump into some Grey Wardens though! Maybe not friendly ones.

There's no point in being a Grey Warden anyway. All you get is a shortened life span and bad dreams.

Hawke won't become one. But, I hope we do get to learn more about the Wardens from his/her perspective. I especially want to hear people talking about my warden's exploits.

It will probably be as vague as possible, like in TES.

Be a disappointment for those who import their choices. Even something as small as "Did you hear about the Blight? It was stopped by a mage of all things. Maker, mages are getting too powerful..." would be preferable to "The Blight was stopped. Cool!"

BTW: Mages have their own story:wizard: I'm never gonna get over that!

No, Hawke isnt, nor will he be a warden....Nor does he have any affiliation with the wardens....Please, people....Just let the warden(s) go....It's time to move on

Bleh, there are many rumored "Default" names flying around the forums. One dev calls him this and another calls him that.
