ok i completed me1 few hours back
now i wanna contineu on me2
BUT its on a other HDD and other operating system
now my question is
where to put the me1 save game ^^ on the other hdd
and will it run smooth cuz its an other operating system

cuz i am running now win7 and me2 is on winXP
and i want to start me2 from win7

or do i need to switch so it will run smooth

giving myself a headache o.O

Right, assuming ME2 still creates a "BioWare" folder in the "My Documents" folder in win7 (or whatever the equivalent is in win7, I'm still using XP) you should just be able to copy the ME1 saves from the other hard drive to that folder and ME2 will 'see' them there. I think. Good luck!

Theoretically, you can put your save games anywhere and Mass Effect 2 will still detect them. This is because, through the Config Utility, you decide where the saves are located.

If you feel like not messing around with the whole My Documents\\BioWare\\Mass Effect folder, just go into "Save" in that same place and grab any files that start with Char_. Those files are specifically for importing into Mass Effect 2, all of the other files are for loading/saving when playing Mass Effect 1.
