daorigins.par 46f6312c 131 bytes ( and that's from the EADM installed version ) so should be safe to distribute

Ok, I'm not really setup for distributing file, but at least 10 persons can grab it before it expires:
http://rapidshare.co...rigins.par.html

Just copy that to your Dragon Age Origins\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\bin_ship folder and you are set (backup the old one before for safety).

If this works for anyone, please post here to confirm.

I've got a website that should beable to handle all the request for this file fine:

www.imperiuminferi.com/DAO/daorigins.par

Let me know if there is an issue.

Cheers!

Zechio,

Would it be possible for you to test to see if with the correct DAOrigins if you are still having issues with the DLC?

ok, so the question is can you take the old daorigins.par prepatch and replace the post patch impulse and fix the issue?

And yes, I can copy the .par from the validly patched folder (or the original prepatch, they are the same) to the impulse patched folder and it works.

So a potential fix is simply to distribute the original .par file.  I'm only worried, does this file contain any of my personnal data or anything like that, or is it the same for everyone?

If anyone with a working patch can run a crc on theirs, we could confirm...  (http://www34.brinkst...nload/crc32.zip)  It should CRC to 46F6312C.

If it does, we have a fix.

Awesome work, man. It works for me.

I already fixed the DLC issue earlier. The 2 seem unrelated though, as a person with a steam install, that does not have the .par problem, did have the DLC issue. Just disable the DLC, restart the game. Attempt to resume or load your save and it should ask you to enable to the DLC. Enable it and everything should load fine.

To late for me by several hours, my re download is at 43.5% due to not archiving first, but I've mirrored the file to my site to. I've got unlimited bandwidth, or so they claim, so feel free to hit it up.

You, sirs, are awesome. Have the Impulse version, same issue, spent the last 4 hours wrestling with it. The daorigins.par file that was posted here fixed it for me.

This really sucks. I haven't been able to play since Saturday, was looking forward to today to be able to sit down after work and get some DA time in. Instead of playing, I spent all evening trying to figure this out. Now I have to get to bed, and I probably won't get another chance to play until the weekend... :(

I am so thrilled to have had to jump through all these hoops to get my newly purchased product activated. What a way to reward those that chose not to pirate by making us deal with this UTTER BULL****.

i am having the issue with it teling me that " game cannot launch because of misconfiguration please reinstall your game and try again " , and i have done that and tried one thing that someone said to do last nite and got it working, then today i went to go and play it and it let me in the game, but when i whent to play it it told me that the mai usier had to be signed in and i was and it still wouldnt let me play, then i went to impulse and according to that it wasnt installed at all, so right now i am trying to install it again, if anyone has any other ideas it be cool, its dragon origins bundle that i got, and it has dragon age ultimate edition, and dragon age 2, and part 2 works just fine

http://social.biowar...8/index/7280573 "read first" for a reason!

http://social.biowar...8/index/6265850 lots of solutions for a wide range of problems.

http://social.biowar.../58/index/81613 various DLC issues.

http://social.biowar...8/index/5151520 more DLC issues, especially for Ultimate Edition users.

Then try a fresh thread of your own. Necro-ing old threads is usually not a good idea.

Failing that http://social.biowar.../58/index/87251 explains where official support can be found.

Help others to help you (i.e. provide more info in the first place). After all, this forum you are in now is user-to-user help. You will see very little from EA/Bioware here.
