This has been happening for a while and with multiple play throughs.  That no matter what I do I get the same ending the only thing that stays constant is if I do the dark ritual or not.  Biggest example is the Circle of mages, no matter what I do now, the ending says the chantry cracks down on them and it goes down the pooper for the mages.  Also even if I end the werewolf curse and not kill the Dalish, the werewolves are still a option when I go to fight the Archdemon, same goes for the dwarves even if I destroy the anvil.  another thing that happens is even if I make Anora Queen it still plays through as if I made Alistair king! only at the end does it say otherwise, I mean he even gives the before battle speech and not Anora!  And this last play through I couldn't even pick the mages to fight with me because everyone else was on my option screen.  Did I do something in game to cause such a bug?  It is starting to work my little nerve!  I want a happy ending for my Circle damn it!

So it's better not to waste your time playing same game again and again. It's all biowares choice that matters
