And no, Liara will not be killed off in a DLC.

Misogyny is bigotry towards women.  The minor criticism I made was directed only at two fictional characters who happen to be women, it doesn't apply to all women and therefore cannot be misogyny.
If by trolling you mean posting off topic personal attacks in an attempt to derail my thread then you've just been banned by every moderator in the forum, so congrats.  Successful troll is sucessful.

And no, Liara will not be killed off in a DLC.

Hey, I'm a Liara fan too.  Just because I like a character doesn't mean I don't support them getting killed.  Thane is my favorite character and even I don't want him to return as I feel a return in the sequel would feel very contrived unless it picks up immedietely following the previous game.

Therefore, Casey Hudson is basically stating that they'll both be around in ME3.

So no. You won't be able to kill Liara in ME2.

Seriously, they are not going to kill a major character such as Liara in an optional portion of the game. Not everyone will buy the DLC and not everyone can buy it.



Just imagine those people popping in ME3. eagerly anticipating seeing Liara again, only to then find out from some random ME3 NPC that she died in optional content they didn't/couldn't buy....I bet they'd be pissed.

I highly doubt she'll be killiable or recruitable in the DLC. Hmmm based on what little info we have it looks to be a temp team up. Well until we know more that is.

Actually I'd like to start a meaningful discussion (no really).

Could the concept of killing a character off in a DLC ever be possible?

Perhaps for people who didn't get the DLC, that character will just be alive in the next game, no change. For people who did get the DLC, and chose to kill off that character, they get some kind of content in the next game that responds to that eventuality.

I don't want to kill off Liara. I like Liara. I was thinking in regards to any character.

Picture a DLC where a semi-prominent character is killed off (at your behest), and in game 3 there's a bit of a story that plays out because of that person's death.
